1814 Litho of Deddington Church sold as a fundraiser for the Primary School
The lithograph of Deddington Church (original by Nathaniel Whittock, Oxford, printed by D. Redman, London, early 19th century) was sold with the dedication: ‘This print is Respectfully Dedicated to the Benefactors & Subscribers to the Deddington National Schools, established July
16th 1814 (to whose funds the profits arising from the sale of it will be appropriated) by their humble Servt. C. Faulkner’. It was republished in 2004 by Jimmy Guthrie and John Vaughan of Clifton as a fundraiser for Deddington Primary School.
